DRAFTER - Full-Time

We seek a dependable, hardworking employee to add to our drafting team. Excellent attendance is required daily to meet our customers' expectations and deadlines. We are looking for someone with CAD skills. We use Microvellum, which uses CAD commands to create drawings. Our customers are typically general contractors building new facilities or remodeling hospitals, doctors' offices, banks, and schools. The pay is based on your skills and experience. We will train the right candidate on how to use Microvellum, but you need to have CAD skills. This is a permanent position in-person position.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour. Full-time is 40-44 hours per week. Benefits are available.

PRODUCTION/CABINET ASSEMBLY - Full-Time

We seek a dependable, hardworking employee for an entry-level cabinet assembly/general labor position. Excellent attendance is required daily to meet our customers' expectations and deadlines. This position can have you assembling cabinets one day, and the next, you may be working in the shipping department, helping load one of our delivery trucks. If you have woodworking or assembly experience, you will move to the front of the line for interviewing.

Starting pay is $18.00/hour. Full-time is 40 hours a week, and overtime is common. Benefits are available. Working hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30, 3:30, or 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

STAIN/PAINT FINISHER - Full-Time

We seek a skilled Stain/Paint Finisher to prepare and apply stain and/or paint to various products while ensuring high-quality finishes. The successful candidate will clean and prepare surfaces, apply undercoats, and finish layers to our Horizon Group standards. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a keen eye for detail, a steady hand, and knowledge of different materials/products and their suitable uses. 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for staining/painting, including sanding and cleaning.

  • Apply undercoats and finish coats using a full range of application methods.

  • Mix stains/paint according to specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.

  • Maintain equipment, including cleaning and making minor repairs.

  • Able to complete any given task in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Monitor staining/painting supplies and request orders when necessary.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and safely operate machinery and equipment. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a Stain/Paint Finisher or in a similar role.

  • Familiarity with staining/painting equipment and tools, including brushes, spray guns, and tape measures.

  • Knowledge of different products and how to properly mix them.

  • Good understanding of color theory and various finish types.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training in auto body or painting is a plus.

     

The pay range is $18-$20 per hour, depending on skills, ability, and work history. Benefits are available. Working hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30, 3:30, or 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
